I have been using the same handle for my team name for at least 14 years, why is it someone somewhere can suddenly finds it offensive?
In the north of England where I was born and live a tosser is a derogatory term for an idiot I just happen to have a team of them
The dictionary definition is someone who throws things, like in the highland games, someone
who tosses the caber is called a tosser
Quite frankly I see no reason to find my team name offensive unless someone is completely OTT and obsessively hung up on the third possible definition i.e. Someone that masturbates, men do, women do, and animals do, so what is all this PC BS after so many years of using this handle. Everyone in my league knows me as that
I will be changing it back shortly unless you prefer to just ban me straight off, I am pretty certain that I could find handles that are far more offensive based upon the fact that a word in one language means something else in another or a different dialect of the same, why the imbalance in this case?
