JSC moving to dedicated receivers ?

Ive seen a report that JSC will be moving to cards locked to dedicated receivers in 2014.

Anyone got any more info?
 
No but the rumour is they could be also leaving 13east position but I can't see that happening.
 
This MIGHT be because they MAY win the Middle East broadcasting rights for the Premier league from AD Sports. Announcement was due Oct / Nov last year.
It may be stipulated by the Premier league that they:
1. Use dedicated receivers - anti card share???
2. Remove their service from Hotbird - as it's too receivable in the UK???

It could make sense!!!

Pure guessing though so don't shoot me

If JSC do win the Prem rights theres is now way they will be allowed to stay on 13E and show the games - either the 3pms will be blacked out or the services will be removed.
 
Time to look for a new subscription I think.
 
I cannot see a problem unless they are granted the full 380 games as ADsports are now, there are plenty of other broadcasters showing live 3pms from easily receivable satellites.

What for 74 GBP a year like I´m paying now for AD Sports ........ dream on O-zzz
 
Yes, but your in Spain and you don't need a huge dish to get 7w like we do in the UK so that makes your comment irrelevent really. It doesn't matter how cheap or how expensive the subscription is, if you can't get the signal it makes it rather pointless :D

AD Sports is not easily receivable in the UK without a large dish. I'm guessing that if JSC do get the rights to the full premiereship games that they will have to stop broadcsats on 13e and just broadcast on 7w. It may have been the reason why they started broadcasting on 7w in the first place.

Since the channels are mainly for Arabic countries that would be a good way of making sure its not an easy catch in the UK without affecting its Arabic customer base.

Its all pure speculation at the moment, so just enjoy it while it lasts.

I never mentioned anything about Cost/Price i just said they are availble
 
But JSC Sports on 7W is easily receivable in UK on a modest size dish - works fine on my 85cm Penta and even better on the Fibo.

I really cannot believe that Premiership football has so many TV stations by their knackers. I personally couldn't care less about football, so I cannot relate to the madness but I've installed dishes for people who want nothing but football.

Still, AD Sports is available via IPTV I think, so it is available for those who seek it.

MP & Silva have been awarded the MIddle East & North Africa. They have media clients such as SKY, ITV and more importantly AL Jazeera. Although they have won other territories so may be a stand alone.

All JSC will have to do is to move it onto a transponder that can't easily be gotten in the UK.

I too am like yourself Captain Jack, I couldn't give a monkies about the football either, I've got better things to do like spend time with my kids or enjoy the company of my friends, rather than to watch 22 over paid morons kick a ball around :D

Still if thats what people want to do, who am i to argue?

I am using JSC HD1/2 just heard that will be HD3

JSC was only channel that provides NBA games sunday in original commentary

that will be freaking bad news for ppl i know that using this card also for la liga matches copa del rey champions league.......

According to various reports all current card renewals expire on 31/12/13, so it certainly looks like something is happening
 
looks like nothing confirmed yet AD Sports is also up to premiere league right so JSC can loose in fight for English league rights.

but they want to start HD1-8 and 2x 3D


confirmed is Viaccess 5.0 and Humax Icord.
