Thanks for the welcome everyone.
Inspired by Skip Channel's post in the pictures section, I stuck my dish on the windowsill and flung open the window. After a few minutes f**ting about I managed to pick up Atlantic Bird 3 and Hotbird 13e (at least that's what my factory-set sl65 box called them). Looking good for when I get something a bit more substantial up outside.
