Afternoon all

Having now got both the Discone & colinear up and connected to the garden-end diplexer, but not yet to the quite long cable back to the house because I ran out of daylight, I was thinking out what I might need to do if I want to put a line-powered wide-frequency amp (like this) somewhere in the cable - and that lead me to look at possible PSUs, because of course, there will be no STB to power it.

Looked quite a few PSUs but most top out at 862MHz pass-through, until I found these Televes ones, some of which can go up to 2400/2500MHz - and they pass through the STB cable voltage when the STB is ON, but when it is not then they provide 12.5Vdc to the antennas.

Edited: there are also single-output (to the RX) versions which use F-connectors and not terminals (and they are obviously cheaper)

Might be useful to me and/or someone else for a few "projects:
