Well, at £37 total, you really can't go too far wrong. :) Don't know too much about the receiver but it may be patchable, even if it isn't, you still have a good FTA setup.

Same as I thought then after I won it, I noticed 2CI slots & a card slot! There's a bonus if you ever needed one :)

Anyone have any opinions on this box? (bad or good)

Just to add to the good points here, i have been running manhattans for about 7 years now. they are very good in every respect. running the manhattan starlight 5900 with embedded magic cam at this very moment. top marks here. wurzel.
