Ka band A - 18.2 to 19.2 Horizontal Feeds.

PC cards 6983,6903, main receiver GTX Combo. Ericsson RX8200.
Promax HDRanger+ & HDRanger2 Analysers.

Time to keep more of an eye on the Horizontal side of 18GHz. Feed for Tesco story.
Caught this at 18976 H. grabbed it just as the pic frame was changing but you get the gist.

Carrier now up at 18998 H @ 11dB, no lock or content as yet.

Yep, stand by your bed on this Llew as i could be talkin out me ass!. The LO was set for 17085 which made the Hor nag feed read out correct on the Promax etc so i know the frequencies were right but iv'e a sneaky suspicion that it might have been a bit of Vertical getting through ?, but even so, there are no vertical frequencies logged that high up.
Iv'e gone back to the XMW and rotated it to Hor for more secure monitoring for a day or so.
 
OK John. I was using the Hughes A-Band LNB, which is very sensitive compared to my Norsat or SL3, particularly for the Teleippica feed, so should find anything up there in H or V.
