Kaon 570 questions...

I have a new Kaon KSC-570. I'm quite pleased with it

but there are several things that I can't seem to figure

out, even after carefully reading the user manual

(English). There seems to be no way to "move" or

sequence items in my favorite list. That seems strange

to me, as you would think that would be a common request

and the user manual seems to indicate that it should be

possible, but kind of vaguely. Also, there seems to be

no EPG data available, even "next" program, forget

tomorrow or next week. I am in France and looking at

Astra 2. Even my old Samsung 9401F would at least give

me "next" program data. Am I missing something? Is EPG

data available only from the master list of channels,

not the favorite list?

Any help would be appreciated. I find the Edit Channel

List menu to be quite confusing, and the lack of EPG

data baffles me.

I have the same reciever (i think) I use it for Sky UK in Spain with a Dragon Cam works fine, but I agree I've never seen any details in the EPG and never been able to figure out how to order the favorites.... I thought it might me the CAM, so never really gave it much thought... sorry not much help, but it does confirm your problem

Had the unit for a couple of years and have spent many hours trying to alter the favorite list order with no success, I do not think it can be done via the menus. The only way would be to retune the selected sattelite and put the transponders in order for the channels you want. Re-search the transponders than add those channels to your favorites. Then hopefully your channel will be NEARLY in order. With regards to the epg for the channels on Sky then I do not think this is possible with this unit as I am sure the sky receivers tune into a seperate transponder for the EPG, and I do not think it is transmitted with each channel (I may be wrong though) I have never had a program listing for sky channels on my Kaon. Others like 13e, no problem.
