I've had a good look around and can't find it. When was this available?

EDIT - ah. found it. Somehow I was directed to another page.

I notice that XP is not one of the operating systems listed. It seems to be working on my Compaq though I did an update and scan yesterday.Re that link it works ok when I try it.Though when I paste it on the forum it is different to the one in my address bar.
Another address. bit.ly/kasf430

It's also unclear about Windows 8.1 in general and Windows 8 32/64 bit compatibility.

I am a bit surprised that it works on my xp computer.I do have the paid for version on my W7 computers.
Also on my brothers w10.
It would be surprising if it did not work on w8 an 8.1
I suppose the only way to find out would be to try it. It does appear the be the same as the paid for virus checker.
As they say before trying something.
Backup Backup Backup..:):):)

A client of mine had Kasperski on a Win XP machine for 3 years (paid for). It wasn't doing much apart from taking up resources and when I installed IoBit Malware Fightrer 5.2 it found aboot 30 nasties lurking inside.
Kaspersky is also a bitch to get rid of completely ( not unlike Symantec/Norton but without a bespoke removal tool) so be careful.
