This morning I found in our garbage room an empty carton box from DHL.
It had the name and address of one of my neighbors who is also a satellite enthusiast.
The label shows that the box content was a VU+ SOLO 4K
I can't understand why most people want to give burglars a reason to give them a visit?
This receiver after paying local taxes is quite expensive. He should have taken off any personal information and thrown the carton box in the recycling bins.
I usually use a paper shredder, which is a bit laborious as I feed it with paper in small numbers not more than 3 or 4 pages although it can take a lot more.
If you don't have access to a paper shredder, this simple method will do the job:
Stick the paper in a small bucket, fill it with water and let it soak for few minutes. It will become mushy so just roll it up anyway you like and send it to a recycling bin. Or even better, put it in a paper recycling bin, as the water soaking I believe is the first stage they use in the recycling factories.
