Where does the law stand now?

Unaltered Kodi boxes are perfectly legal but the content that can be streamed on "pre-loaded" boxes is causing controversy.

This content can range from Sky Sports to films currently in the cinema, and that, prosecutors claim, is illegal.

If you're already comfortable with watching streams on websites such as Putlocker, then using Kodi with particular add-ons is no different. If you aren't, it's worth steering clear of many of Kodi's most popular extensions.

Daft.

Might as well declare all PCs, Tablets and Phones illegal as they can also be used for dodgy purposes.

Give them time.......!

Well, the TV licensing types are already claiming "If you own a computer, you need a license too" as they assume we're all watching iplayer 24/7, so the case against computers has already begun...

If it was from the BBC then it might make sense, but nobody takes the rants from the private outsourcing numpties from Capita seriously.

private outsourcing numpties from Capita seriously.

Don't get me started on capita, paid both council tax bills via the pay online option, using my debit card. Both councils use them to process the payments :(

Then I go to pay the ground rent due on my flat, and the housing association online payment processing uses capita.

Then I get to the TV license pay online portal to find its capita processing my card again.

Is there no pies, they don't have a finger in?

Is there no pies, they don't have a finger in?

Probably not, it's one of them things that where there's money, there's companies like Capita, being the profiteering middleman that makes things more expensive than they need to be...

TV license door agents are G4S c#*kends up this way. My personal favorite story about G4S is when one of their agents announced his presence in pub in Manchester as part of the $ly snoop squad looking for bars showing games via foreign sub's and was promptly shot with a crossbow lol. I've been to some pubs in Manchester and anybody that's crossed the door in some of these areas on the outskirts knows that a d#ck move right there!

They are doing what they can to give their various departments arty names ( paid for by the sods they haul up before the courts - which they also have a hand in - )
but a decent search will find them out. They are no better since the chief numpty left four years back, apart from the profiteering.

Paul Pindar: the man who took the "r" out of Capita

The last three words of the linkie description say it all.
