So just bought one of these for £11 including free delivery from aliexpress. I found 103 channels on 5w however the Audio on the French channels is not being decoded. Has anyone got the sound with a K1 ? I don’t have the wifi antenna to update any possible firmware to maybe fix this as I thought my old X2 one would work...

No audio on French TV @ 5 west is a hardware problem only solved by a new receiver this is why the Octagon SX88 was replaced by the SX88+ with new hardware build then the French audio worked.
That is why aliexpress is selling them off cheap as there is no software upgrade to correct this.

OK guess not. Oh well not much lost anyway. Yes sent my sx88 back for the plus version for this reason !
 
Can't home cinema amps & some TVs decode dd+ through HDMI by setting the audio output on the receiver to bitstream?
