Okay, this is indeed a mysterious box with no tagplate, serial or model stiker.
Problem with this unit was subtitles got stuck on BBC HD all time. After an USB boot the item died. Warranty is 12 months, expired.
Problem is dodgy software. Seem to have been improved lately where they made a website with download. Webpage looks home made.
Unit costed approx. USD 25.
Power supply looks good, filter and insulation ok.
Board gets hot though, 45 degrees on CPU.
Take a look at the tuner, incredible small.
Pluss: It worked. Also on Goto X. Good remote. Nice look on receiver and remote. AV cables composite phono cables included in box.
Minus: Subtitles problematic on HD. Dead after trying to update software. No info on web page for specific models on how to update.
Anybody have more info on these receivers?
As it is dead I cannot show you model or serial number as this is stored in software.
Note that this version of the circuit board is discontinued.
The newest model did not have the sub issue.
