OK I am almost there.
I have got my Dreamboxes working, but I am having terrible problems networking them. I am sure it doesn´t help having a non standard setup.
As this system will not be going on the internet I was advised to buy a D-Link DGS -1008D Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet Switch (8 way). I have connected up with straight ethernet cables, assigned various IP addresses to the boxes, changed lots of settings, tried DHCP, all to no avail (no decrypt of scrambled channels on second box). I have tried just linking two boxes together with crossed ethernet cable, but no joy.
Can someone let me know what settings should be for two Dreamboxes connected by crossover cable, and if poss what settings I should use when two or mores boxes are linked by ethernet switch.
