Yes, but this expensive approach would already be obsolete if NASA had adapted their policies a few years back.


The drive (sic) should have been for smaller satellites to have - remote - ion drive propulsion systems , with a deployable capsule reload, injecting chemicals (such as argon) using nothing less than a spritzer style canister.

One could envisage a moving fuel station with drones, paid for with nothing more than a credit card based on the mileage to get to the intended target, with the more 'economical' algorithms in maintaining station keeping trajectories winning hands down.
