i have been away fromt he forum for a while and wondered if anyone could let me know of a newer imageto use now as i have read that dream elite dont do updates anymore?

current image is - Dream elite 13-OW1.6 patched

box is dm800hd 2.01 sim bl75

I too am wanting to know this,
I have just recently purchased an Dreambox 800 HD clone to go in place of my Dreambox 500s standard def box (original and not a clone) that I have in my bedroom, I was reluctant to buy a clone for 2 reasons,
1. original and official is best
2. 'the so called timebomb'

I had a cloned dreambox 500s a few years ago, was believed it to be an original untill 1 day I turned the box on to find that the 'timebomb' had made the box unusable, so my mate got in touch with a guy that actually brought it back to life, worked fine from then on, wasn't untill last year sometime that I accidently knocked the box off the unit, the box was totally dead, my mate kindly give me his 500s (original) when he upgraded to the dreambox 8000 HD, which I also purchased a month or 2 before him, that is an original also...

so, to clarify, I have the following;
Dreambox 8000 HD (orginal) as my main box in the living room
Dreambox 500s standard def (original) use in my bedroom

Just bought Dreambox 800 HD (clone) to go in my bedroom

this is what is already on the 800 HD (Clone) which the guy who I bought it from kindly installed for me;
Bootloader 76C - Sim 2.01 - Alps Tuner
Gemini 5.0 installed
Cccam 2.1.4 installed

is this ok, and safe to use without the fear of a so called 'timebomb' and/or anything else??
am I safe with using the above or any other image??

all sounds good to me Gemini stable image and CCam 2.1.4 latest emu , yes you can change image but stick to patched images
