Something strange on Over 18 TV epg 914.

Instead of the usual "adult" programming theres a tape loop promoting a band called super delta three.

Three epg renames this morning for MTV channels:

160 - MTV® has been renamed MTV Shows
355 - MTV TWO has been renamed MTV Rocks
357 - VH1 Classic has been renamed MTV Classic

Spice Extreme is now fta.

However the "adult" programming (and I use the term in the loosest possible way as theres more erotic stuff transmitted in the clear on the Euro sats!) has been dropped as its turning into a slapper on a sofa channel. Just promos on now.

Sci Fi is to rebrand as Syfy Universal at 2200 on April 13th

New HD channels in the next few weeks:

April 2nd - ITV1 HD - epg 178 (taking Men & Motors slot)

April 29th - Sky Sports 4 HD

June 28th - Hallmark Channel HD

Another 10 channels are expected to launch this year, taking the total number of HD services to over 50.

OBE TV was been removed from epg 207 on March 12th.

EDIT - the OBE label was subsequently deleted so they have closed.

Looks like Men & Motors is closing so that ITV1 HD can have its epg slot. There are no programmes listed after April 1st

Cream (epg 956) closes down at 5.30am on Tuesday 23rd March. The epg may be used for ppv channel Primetime 2

Tease Me 1 2 & 3 are in serious trouble with Ofcom for repeated rules breaches and are being recommended for sanctions. This may be a sserious as revocation of their broadcast licences.

The future of Channel M Manchester is in serious doubt

Its losing money and failed to find a buyer. Staffing is to be cut to around 4 and all the live programming will cease.
