I use the netflix app a fair bit. The app on the Samsung QLED (2018 Q8) is far better than the one on my Shield Pro 2019 (I think my Shield needs a reset).
On my Samsung 6 Series from 2013 and JVC 2016 TV I prefer to use a firestick as the latter is more responsive than the TVs.

I have a separate system set up in my den but no energy to watch anything on it. Yes, NCIS re runs get many airings here, along with Morse, Lewis, Endeavour, Poirot, and Cadfael. I've seen so many I can recognise which episode it is from the first five minutes....
