I'm with you on that Rolf if only we had telepathic powers :-Nooo

However perhaps the o/p is referring to the LHD particle accelerator although that has been in operation for some time now the o/p of course may have come forward in time and therefore missed it, I'll never sleep tonight wonderingU-zzzO-zzz

Probably means the Large Hadron Collider - the one at CERN that'll swallow us up in a black hole when they throw the switch...

http://lhc.web.cern.ch/lhc/

I read that it could be the beginning of time travel when one end of a time loop is created when the mini black hole implodes.

I've much to learn

rolfw do u no what lnb is or stb or ber or uhf. i would have thought the large hadron colider hdc would have been discussed on this forum even though its not satellite related.

The title of your thread reads lhd NOT lhc or hdc
Could this be the reason for the confusion?

I don't think there's very many people here that are versed up on Particle Accelerators, let alone the abbreviations relating to them!!! :)

Nope, afraid I'm not into that sort of stuff and very seldom even glance at Einstein's alcove. :)

Don't know much about hdc but I know what std is :)

LOL, apparently so do half the 16 year olds in the UK nowadays.

Ah it has become hdc now........... well had I known:-worship:-worship, I think when comments like this are made they should be made more clear as acronyms are abundant in our society today and there are lots of them:p

For those not called Rolf who are interested in the begining of the end have a read here

How does it go? Whoa whoa the end is nigh :-Nooo

Well I AM interested in this sort of thing and had anything appeared in Einstein's Alcove I would have chipped in my two-penn'orth.

I suppose I could have started a thread myself though. Just didn't think to.
