Liberty 9800 frozen and will not come on

Hey guys, I have the Liberty CI 9800 receiver and just the other day, the box led displayed "888" instead of the usual clock that it shows when its on standby.. I tried the on button but nothing, the box just refuses to come on even though im seeing the 3 digit "888" message on the box's screen itself. Ive tried everything, holding the power button in for 10 seconds, switching the box off (maximum being 24 hours) and then turning on again but still, nothing but the "888" message and no response from the remote control.

Any remote control combination I can do to reset the box?

Sounds like you need a Manchester Screwdriver, unfortunately
