General programming. Tricky catching this one, DVB-S2 and low SR needed patience to lock with my TBS6925.

I had trouble with this too on the F15 signal kept jumping from 2.9db to over 10.0db and then it took the F15 around a minute to get a solid lock onto it, it evened out at a steady 9.8db eventually.

I put it down to the MPEG-4 as Flysat also have it listed as 8psk so maybe the combination of these and the low symbol rate caused problems.
 
MPEG-4 would have nothing to do with signal levels digi247.

Hi Remlap,

Yes i know that what i was getting at is the combination of the 2 MPEG-4 and 8psk may have been contributing factors of the F15 getting a stable lock almost immediately, I have found this with other MPEG-4 channels and the F15 so its not localised to one satellite, maybe a firmware update could cure it.

Very impressed my TBS 8920 found this by altering frequency to 11569 - according to its spec, it's not supposed to lock onto DVB-S2 QPSK or 8PSK Symbol rates below 10,000!
 
This is tricky, I was almost giving up, but after changing FEC to 1/2 got lock. From time to time there is no lock and then it stays stable and on and off again. I have 1,5m PFA.
