Has any Linux Receiver with an enigma 3 seen the light of day yet. I am asking cause a friend of mine keeps saying yes though he doesn't say or can't remember where he had read this. As far as I know Enigma 3 is still on the drawing board, and when I did a google run nothing of the sort came up.

As far as i know Enigma 3 is what Dream Multimedia are banding about at the moment for their new receivers. Unfortunately its probably going to be closed source so its bound to be doomed with failure.

Dream Multimedia seem to have the opinion that their receivers are so good that even with closed source firmware that they will still sell. Thats not going to happen as its the Open source firmware that sells their over priced kit. By going closed source all it will achieve is just to make them lose an even bigger slice of the market sales. Vu+ receivers are better now than anything Dream multimedia now have to offer for half the price.
