Linux reciever with good tuner sensitivity?

Finally getting everything setup after moving house and long delayed purchase of new receiver finally approved by the wife ;)

Looking at VU+, ET9000 and competitors. Just wondering if anyone had seen a good comparison of the tuner sensitivity, or could comment if the VU+ has a half decent tuner?

Coming from a Technomate (see sig) so want to be sure I don't get something that's less sensitive.
 
VU+ tuner has proved more sensitive than my previous Vantage and Manhattan receivers. It locked a couple more H TP's from 7°W that they couldn't. Haven't any experience of Technomate receivers on my setup unfortunately.

Agreed. Was bucketing down and my dreambox and PCI Card both couldn't get Viasat. The VU+ got it without any pixellation!
 
Thanks, that all sounds promising!

As long as its not below average should be ok for a weaker service I want to get.
