Liz Sladen best known for her role as Sarah Jane in Dr Who has died at the age of 63 - she had been suffering from cancer :(

I have to say, the only thing I can associate with "Sarah Jane" and something in my memory is that they used a copy of the map of the galaxy (see pics below) that was originally made for Star Trek: The next generation in the CBBC series The Sarah Jane adventures... :confused:

R.I.P Liz.

Though she acted well with Jon Pertwee, I thought that her performances in 'The Sarah Jane Adventures' were excellent. The series itself was a little gem, pitched at exactly the right level for it's audience. A sad, sad loss.
 
Heard it on the news this morning. Rather a shock as I had no idea she had been ill.
