Dreambox 7020, HH120 Discq notor with Triax 1.1m
I am using a Dreambox 7025 with dual LNB inputs. I want to replace the single LNB with a dual one (or quad and not use 2 outputs if necessary) and would like to have some recommendations on the best LNB to use on my 1.1 Triax motorised system.

The cable will also have to be changed and I understand that the better quality cable the better so what should I be using (poss 10-15m).

Many Thanks

Reports that Invacom & Inverto seem to perform.

Cable: Benchamarked Wf100 or equivalent.

The Inverto SilverTech twin seems to work the best out of all the LNBs I have tried.

Bit cheeky to ask but, what is a good reliable source for lnbs & cables as don't wnat to fall for one of the bad sites.

p.s. tried pulsat.com but when you go to enter your personal home details they do not use a secured connection

Try one of the other site sponsors eg Southern Satellite or CDTronix for example.

The shpos seem to be selling RG6 Satellite Cable not Wf100. Are they comparable or is the Wf100 better?

I have found some "WF100 Quality Coax cable per metre" on cdtronix but its single only. The twin appears to be "WF65 TWIN SKY+ Black Coax Cable Per Metre", would this be good enough for a longish run (~25-40m) with the Invertor Sivertec Twin (nb just noticed they do not do that, what is the "ICECRYPT Twin 0.1db LNB" like in comparison (as could get Inverto from Southern Sat).

Many thanks

Since you want a lot of cable, you might as well get yourself a reel. Try screwfix for pf100 performance wise it is the same as wf100, cost is approx £30 a 100m reel.

Also slightly cheaper at TLC Direct if you have a branch nearby.

Not tried the icecrypt, but I tried lots of others, and without the need to adapt the dish in any way, the Twin Inverto performed the best.

I think 40m is supposed to be about the recommended max for wf100 etc, so wf65 may be a problem.

You can get twin 1mm type (wf100 equivalent) ,you need to shop around.
