LNB Fault.

My Satellite Setup
Master Focus 90cm .Gigablue UHD Quad 4K on TM 2600 motor. *Tm 5402 HD M3, *Atemio Nemesis. *Not Used.
My Location
Southern England
My dish will not go to positions in USALS or diseqc to do a satellite scan. It will go to the satellites in positioner setup using go to X. Did a box reflash, used a different tuner. Tried another box. Still the same. Is it the lnb or motor? Will go on the roof tomorrow if its not raining again.
 
Is it a E2 box? You haven't installed a newer version of OpenVIX, OpenATV or OpenPLI have you?

Reason I ask is I reported a bug that they "Fixed" but there is another bug I have found.
Was having problems today and last night, it will sit there trying to do a service scan but never moves from 0 - 100%
If it's a hardware fault like an LNB it will still go to 100%, it seems to be an E2 issue for me.

Might just buy one of those Octopus boxes.

Well it's more image rather than receiver...

I dunno, I call it Octopus as it has wires coming out from every side :N, wish someone can put one in a bigger box.
The Edision only has 128Mb ram but costs the same.

That's it. Wait forever. I reset the motor, checked the coax connections but still the same. I was using VIX so i re flashed with Team Blue. All working fine. Its a nice image so I will stick with it and leave it to scan the arc during the day.
 
That looks very much like the same issues with the Free Sat V7 box I had to deal with last year, temperamental to the point of being useless in steering a dish

Something is seriously messed up in these OA-Enigma images, I reported the last issue and it seemed to upset everyone and they got defensive about it, they eventually put a fix out but seems they have broken something else! And my thread also got closed on WoS when I dared to reply with facts about these issues :-rofl2
 
I'm using an old v5.0 ViX image on a VU+ box and it scans ok.

I've seen the posts about scanning problems, so have held off loading a current image. Thanks for the warning.

Installing OpenPLI, will see if that works.
 
Broken in OpenPLI too...
 
They have always had issues Rusty. All the sw ever written for those boxes was a pile of poo. I think most have consigned to the bin by now...

Ah got you :), it's the default PLI skin you can see there, that might be why it looks similar.

Yeah, Open PLI wrote sw for them, along with Open SPA and I think another team. Never been a fan of Enigma2, probably because of the hours I wasted of my life trying to get it to work on the AZbox!
 
I'm getting annoyed with E2 lately... still can't manually add a sat, can't easily add some other things. Constantly firing up the PC.

Interestingly I was too hasty to report my findings on OpenPLI, if does actually work... I was being impatient.
 
Bug is there in OpenATV...
