My Satellite Setup
No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...
My Location
Near Pontop Pike, Co. Durham
Just been diagnosing an issue with the FreeviewHD+ box downstairs (typical software stupidity, needed rebooting), and I spotted a new local channel on the cards, it's on channel 791, and the testcard is pretty basic, but has a little Pong style block bouncing back and forth under the text, quite mesmerising actually, even my cat Spud was watching it bouncing back and forth, over and over again.....

Haven't got anything to do screenshots or get all those numbers, but, here's a couple of photos anyway... :D

Which transmitter are you on - we can probably identify what it will be

I'd have thought Pontop with a bit of wet string for the antenna lol

"Made in Tyne & Wear" is probably the channel name - theres not much else due to launch in the north east

And a recent pic of Pontop Pike - I was passing through the area last Sunday so went over to investigate! :D

So you were within a couple of miles of me, and you didn't mention it? I dunno... :P

:D

Just wandering along the lanes after a weekend in Bishop Auckland (rather than heading back up the A68 and saw the masts in the distance, so went to investigate :D

Bishop Auckland? I live 6 miles from there! :) Anyway we can pick up these new local TV stations, but it's on the back of the aerial as we're on Bilsdale. Not sure if there is any planned to broadcast from there.

Got that one here too, "CONNECT 4" has been on the EPG since last year, but naff all has happened on there... :confused

Could be something for Channel4, with a number like "234" and the name Connect 4, it could be an interactive service or something at a guess...

It scans in as data 2cv I also get connect 2/3 but nothing on them it just says the channel as seized broadcasting or words to that effect.

Probably just sitting there intentionally wasting space to stop decent channels having a reasonable bitrate I guess...
