Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask the question.
I have a GBSat 2CI box which has now started to lock up.
Either just turning on or loading channels.
The picture just goes and will not turn on or off at the front.
I have to switch off completely, so all loaded channels are lost.
Is there an in built safety/ overheat function on these?
Any suggestions welcome.

Try at first doing a factory reset, it could be a software corruption.

Tried the reset.
Only scanned 1,7,10e, then locked up again.
If a software corruption, in your opinion any way of re setting or otherwise?

You could try uploading new software http://www.gbsat.com/support.htm Chek that it is the right version first though. You can actuallly telephone them as well. Tel

I guess i need an RS232 cable to connect to PC.
 
Yes, probably a Nul Modem cable. :)
