Welp, this one has been eluding me until today. Managed to get a lock on RTI 2 transmission on the East Hemi beam.

Sadly, nothing from the Greenland TP - something I wouldn't mind having!

It's an annoying bug to say the least. The variety of programming/countries you get from C band is very rewarding... sadly, all it makes me do is want to get a bigger dish

Oh well, maybe when I buy my own house with a clear, south-facing garden, I'll realise my dream...

Nothing wrong with cheap big mesh dishes for C band.

You will have to weatherproof it before you put it up or it will start to decay as soon as it gets outside. They seem to prefer hot countries.

Belated thanks CJ thread wise, I was not doing C-Band then.....pleased with the results....another new C-Band sat for me.

Updated scan today and frequency change.

EBSpro did not hold the RTI 1 and RTI 2 frequencies but the TM 5402 mk 3 did.

RTI 1 is now 3643 R 3220 and RTI 2 3647 R 3300, together with a nice couple of data TP's.

No time to fiddle now but I had to take the scaler back a little just exposing the face/neck of the LNB by about 5mm.....difference was over 1db in gain....will try to improve tomorrow.

Stronger signal today.....scan 08.45hrs.

Only 0.3dB but finally secured Fox News Channel on 4164 L 11465.....good job the FEC was 1/2.
