Was a member here a long time ago when I first got into satellite tv, lost touch though, recognise a few names still around.

Yup, stand by for a steep learning curve. For a start there are vitually no analogue channels left anywhere!

Indeed, i've still been into the satellite stuff, it's certainly changed over the last few years since I had my TM5200 and inputting keys with the remote LOL

Oh, our wonderfull north yorkshire county council's fibre broadband rollout hasn't reached your area yet then :( so much for all the publicity. one day it will come I'm sure, you must be somewhere pretty remote then, we just got fibre in Scarborough.

No, and we will be last of all - if at all!

Only just got vaguely tenable DTT reception a couple of months ago.

Clannet (or its successor), in collaboration with NYCC have installed a fast microwave link for Broadband at one house in the village, but boy is it expensive.
