Hi guys, I currently have two dishes, one Sky dish pointing at 28.2 and another at Turksat 42e. I'm looking to install a dish pointing at Hotbird 13e (and perhaps 19.2e if possible) to a flat roof that is located next to a bedroom where it will be received from.

I have a 60cm dish, receiver and the LNB and bolts but haven't a clue how to install it myself. I'm also beginning to think that 60cm may be too big and that I could possibly get away with a 45cm dish.

I have tried a dish pointer app on my phone and apparently I have a good line of sight for 13e

Hi, a third dish may require planning permission in a residential area. Have you thought of a single dish with a multi LNb set up? or leave the Turksat and install a dish for 13e, 19e, & 28e. Can be achieved on a decent 80cm.

Thank you for letting me know! I thought three dishes was the limit, didn't realise it was two. In that case I think a multi LNB set up may be the best solution for me as the Sky dish is located at the front of the house whereas the 80cm dish receiving Turksat is at the back, closer to the bedroom that I want to receive from.

My next question really is what dish size and materials I'd need to have 42e/13e/19e running from the same dish. Would it be more sensible to have a motorised set up in this case?

Yes, a motorised set up would be just the ticket for those sats.
80 minimum on a DiSEqC motor.

Just bumping this. Our dish fixed at Turksat 42 E is no longer picking up a signal. I would now like to instead, motorise this dish in order to receive 42 E again, but also hoping to receive 7E/10E/13E/16E/19.2E/ etc...

Is anyone located within or close to the Romford area or can recommend an installer that can motorise my 80cm dish?

The 42E dish may have a failed lnb, have corroded connections . been strimmed & is now full of water, been knocked & is now misaligned etc. check it over from dish to receiver.

Especially if you have been trimming a hedge where the cable could have got nickedor sliced in the last few days!
