Hi I have 90cm dish in central France with twin lnb and Manhatten plaza hd2
It is only about 12 months old
All was fine until the start of this year when after about 20 mins of watching the signal deteriorated and then was lost.
If you unplugged everything for 20 mins you get another 20 mins viewing
If you unplug for 5 mins you get only 5 mins viewing and pro rats up to 20 mins max
Sounds like something doesn't like warming up?
Signal and quality start out at 85% and then deteriorate to about 30% for both
I tried the other cable which is not used at the moment but same thing happened
Any help would be great
It's pointed at Astra2 if I remember rightly well the one with all UK free channels
Any help would be great as place where I bought it are next to useless in their customer service

That could be either an lnb fault or more likely a box fault. It sounds like something is going out of tolerance as the box warms through.

To be honest as you have swapped the cable over it looks like the receiver is at fault.

As an anecdote, had a receiver that only worked after approx. 20 minutes. 2 faulty power supply capacitors, needed time before one of the PS voltage's would slowly rise to normal. & caps can do the opposite, PS voltage slowly dropping after turning on.
