Lost Hotbird Channels

Hi all, I am another newbie to this what appears to be an interesting site.
as a previous post mentions I am probably in the wrong thread so if someone would be so kind please re direct me.

I am formerly from Reading & now live in the south of Turkey, I have next system, Digiturk (which is expensive) and normal land tv.
My 3 dishes receive hotbird, turksat, digiturk & sirius2
My question if someone can please help,
Whilst playing!! with the remote I have lost all my hotbird programmes does any one know how to re set it,
I still get Turksat & Digiturk + Sirius 2

Depends on the receiver you have, you don't appear to mention what it is.

Hi,
I don't know about that receiver, but from your description it is not clear if you still have Hotbird in your satellite list. Check that to make sure it is still there.

Another possiblility is that you have changed the Diseqc switch setup, make sure that the correct Diseqc switch output is selected.

Have you tried doing a re-scan to get all the channels back?

I have altered the disque set up and I have now got most of my channels back.

This idiot has done it again,

lost all the hotbird channel's
Please can some kind person tell me how to get them back.

starting at the top for the satelite set up search
Hotbird ku 13E
low low low high
polarity
disqc
Etc Etc.
I also have a spare dish, what would be a good satelite to tune into
I live in Turkey,

Does any one know what happened to Euronews and BBC World, they seem to have disappeared over the horizon

what make of receiver do you have. sounds like you have disqc switching i am in fethiye ,let me know might be able to help are you in gocek

What satellites are your dishes seeing at this moment

i am going blind did not see the begining of the topic Duh ?

if you are not in a rush i am going down to dalaman later this week, early next week if i can help give me a shout
