Lost Satellite/Channels

Dream Machine 7020Si and 90cm fortec dish

I currently have a problem, when it was snowing I decided to have a bit of a play around with the dream box as I thought the reception was being interupted by the weather.

I have since developed a massive problem I've lost most of the channels on Astra 28.2. I can't exactly remember what I've done but I'm sure I changed the transponder: its currently at 11585/27500/H......

Can you tell me if this is correct, if it's not could you tell me what it should be. Thanks
 
I don't know owt about Dreamboxes, but I'm guessing you want the Default Transponder (where all the EPG, Programme Info etc comes from) for BSkyB, which is 11778 V 27500 3/4.
 
The Dreambox will not be affected by default transponder settings, when you say "a bit of a play around", what do you mean/what did you change?
 
I'm not sure what I did to be honest. But the channels keep on saying this does send a signal, when the channels should.
 
Actually its saying service could not be found.
 
Did you physically do anything e.g. move the dish?

Do you have a motor?

Do you have a lock and sync on 28.2e?
 
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. My laptop decided to top working. When looking at the dram box i've noticed that the the strength and quality is good. However the BER for most channel is around 7000 to 12000. Can yu tell me what I need to do to get the BER back to a reasonable number.
