My Satellite Setup
I have sky hd but I lost mostly free channels I live in newtownabbey northern Ireland how do I angle it up to correct position

Hi everyone I have skyplus hd I'm from newtownabbey northern Ireland iv lost signals in my multi room how do I get signals back got some channels what's best way to get it fixed without Paying out dosh get fix any help pls
 
It'll be the FTA channels I'm afraid or a multi room sub ;)
 
Can you please check if the channels you've lost all share the same polarity, Horizontal, or Vertical, which could point to a faulty LNB.
Can you also please post more details, signal quality readings, channels you've lost, frequency readings.
Some channels have changed satellite perhaps your receiver needs updating.
 
Have you lost signals in every room or is there one room still unaffected?

On the ones where you say thet you have lost signals is everything gone?

If everything has gone in all rooms then it's probably something like the satellite dish being knocked. Have you had the windows washed or unblocked the gutters recently for instance?
 
Just seen your other post.

To my mind there are two possibilities:

1) the scaffolding is physically in the way of the satellite signals and will come back when it's dismantled or

2) The scaffolders have knocked the dish or, worse, cut the cables. This will obviously mean that some work will have to be done when they go.
 
I quite regularly move dishes temporarily onto scaffolding and then return to the wall at a later date. If you call a local installer I'm sure he'll do a reasonable deal for you.
