Which colour scheme would you like to see the new Lotus F1 team running next year.

Should they use one of the historic paint jobs or should they develop something new for the team and not wallow in nostalgia?

Id like to see them running something based on the beautiful black and gold JPS Lotus colours from the 1970's.

Well I know it wasn't particularly associated with Lotus, but British Racing Green has always been a favourite.

Last seen in F1 on Jaguar?
 
I'd prefer JPS black, but the reality is that a sponsor will splash their colours across it!

Nice one!

Despite my earlier comment, I;'ve gone for 1960s Yellow and Green because:

a. I'd forgotten about it

b. It's more closely associated with Lotus than British Racing Green is

c. I likes it
 
I would tend to lean towards the black and gold JPS colours..

But as Salty has said.. it will be the colours of the sponsors..
 
Has to be the Black and Gold JPS scheme :-worship
 
That JPS car was the best looking GP car ever, would be nice to have the black and gold back, but as has been said the sponsor's will sh(t all over it with whatever colours they want to have for their product.

BTW I voted for BRG because it would look great whatever colours were put on top of it.

Hmmm I hope the colour choice won't be headache problem like the reputation they had in the motor trade...... Loads Of Trouble Usualy Serious! :D

Also Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen are gonna be the drivers..
