Not familiar with dual port C-band LNBs. I'm sure there must be some but all the highly recommended ones are singles. If you are not going to be both STBs at once, how about a "smart priority switch"?

Hi H, ironic, just 30 mins ago ordered a dual C-Band direct from Titanium having read earlier that any type of switch would reduce the signal strength. Basically needed a dual so that i could fiddle at dish level with meter/tv etc and run the 2nd feed direct to the receiver or PC card in the house ie: negating the need to keep changing cables. If memory serves me correct you mentioned yourself in a thread that you had located a second C-Band LNBF on your dish to save the prob of all the in/out changing of the dialectric....forgive me if it was someone else but i guess that would be a more upmarket version of a simple dual feed LNBF. :D

Will have a longer read when I get 5mins on the value of the smart priority switch...thanks.

Up to now Brian only proved that 57.0ºE was there so I could watch my Real Madrid and La Liga matches with:
57.0ºE c.JPG

After that, as I have not tried much C-Band on the west side, am coming down from the east heading west.

Working a treat though thanks and simply measuring and noting the exposed length of the thread from the bottom nut gives me a near accurate elevation for locating the sat on future searches.....tested and fine....will keep you up to date.

Be safe.

Yep, I've got two C-band LNBs on my 1.8m motorized dish. One L/R and one H/V. Plus a Ku LNB. I made the scalars interlocking to get them closer to focal point. L/R is at focal point and H/V is pointing a little further west.pm11.jpg pm12.jpg pm13.jpg pm14.jpg
