^M symbols in file / hand in hand with CCcam

Good morning,

using total commander I have ftp'ed the file softcam.k..y in /keys directory of my dm800 running pli image.
When using vi, at the end of each line I see the symbols ^M

Does this hinder proper use of the softcam.k..y file?

Secondly, can softcan.k..y be used hand in hand with CCcam?

It probably won't work.

Why are you manually editing key files? It's a lot easier to use a key updater or FTP the new file to your Dreambox.

You get a medal for using vi ;)

I use UltraEdit32 if I have to edit any Dreambox files (on my Windows PC).
