Have one coming in the next few days, will let you know how good or bad it is when fitted.

Cheaper on ebay if you set to search European sellers also.

A nice design, allowing the case to slide down, to cover the connections, providing it's water proof !!!!!!!!
 
Probably won't be. The cheapo HD-Line octo i purchased last week had a cover that didn't even make it down to the end of the f-connector. I just changed the f connectors for watertight cablecon ones in the end and malged the exposed end of the connectors up.

For a cheap lnb its on a par with the MTi one it replaced signal quality and strength wise it just had the issue with the cover. whether the Maclean one will be the same is yet to be seen.
 
Well its arrived and its definitely a quad. Its more or less the same as the HD Line lnb in that the pull down cover doesn't actually go as far as the end of the lnb so its going to be a case of using the cablecon waterproof F-connectors with malg tape again. Will be a case of wait and see how good it is when i finally get a chance to get the ladder out and fit it to the dish.
