OK, I get the health benefits of 'self heating', but what in the fabric is 'magnetic', certainly not the tourmaline.
It can deliver an electrical charge when compressed, but unlikely to allow the wearer to walk up a steel girder.
Tourmaline is both pyroelectric and piezoelectric. If a specimen is put under a pressure or temperature change, it will generate an electrical charge. When this happens, dust particles become attached to the crystal ends.
