Managing Recordings

Hi,

I've recently purchased a Vu Duo + box and slowly finding my way around. My box does not seem to have any options to create and organize your recordings into folders. Is there a plug in or option I am missing to do this ?

For reference the O/S on my Vu box is VTI v4.1.

Any advice would be much appreciated - many thanks
 
No real way to do this directly on Duo box I think. Try EMC plug in - enhanced movie centre. Better than the built in interface (for me). You can organise stuff via telnet or PC.
 
You can create you own folders within /media/hdd/ using DCC or any FTP program, then cut/paste recordings into the folder of your choice.

But you can't get the standard full set of play/record commands if the recordings are not in /media/hdd/movie. You can get most of the pay record function through the media player.

This is with a ViX image, might be different with another image.
