Manhattan 6900 problem

My Satellite Setup
Manhattan 6900 fixed 80cm dish
My Location
London
The receiver is four and a half years old and has a hard-wired Irdeto slot which worked when it was first installed but now does'nt work. The view card has been checked and is OK. Has the encryption changed so the slot is now obsolete? Would buying a Irdeto CAM solve the problem.

What card? what satellite? what channel are you trying to watch? answers to these questions would give people a head start
