First, download (unzip or unrar) and ftp the bin, key etc files to the folders indicated in the dreamboxworld site. For emu scam.bin, ftp the attached script file to /var/script. Then go to blue button - cam settings - all Cam's - cam liste update - ok. Exit blue button - go to blue button again and you will find scam in list.

For other emus, Edit the emu bin file name to the corresponding emu name in the list in the script file. Edit the script file to replace the words 'scam' with the emu bin name. Also edit the emu number.

ps. does not work for the new newcamd. See next post.

For manual installation of Newcamd 6.03 (with d+ mediapark and the rest :D), the following steps are required after downloading the files :-

(1) Ftp the file newcamd.ppc to var/bin. Rename it newcamd_6.03. Create a new folder var/tuxbox/config/newcamd. Ftp the newcamd conf file to that new folder.

(2) Find file libcamdio.so in the Newcamd 6.03 and ftp this .so file to var/lib.

(3) Ftp folder scce (from the latest dreambox keys) to var/tuxbox/.

(4) Use the attached script file to do the same steps as in the first post.

Do not forget to change attribute to 755 for all ftp items. This may also work with 6.02, not checked.
