Manual updating DM600

60cm fixed dish Astra 19.2, Dreambox 600PVR. Sky mini dish, sky+
My Location

hi, I have ftp'd an image across to my DM600 - tmp folder & renamed it root.cramfs
I found this suggestion on doom9.org
However in the DM600 there doesnt seem to be an option to manually update. Am I correct and must I go down the dreamup & nullmodem route?
