First trip 2018? No way. Well They could argue for the trip and keep from being boared.
I think they should transmitt tv shows and programs to them on the trip.Cable tv in space, this way they will not be cut off on what is going on back on earth.Tv shows, sit coms,sports,mature content.News, Internet will be slow because of the 7 min each way delay as thet get closer to Mars.
Last i heard they have an new rocket that will get them there in 3 months instead of 6 months.If they can shrink that to 2 months or less then Mars will realistic.
