My Satellite Setup
Master Focus 90cm .Gigablue UHD Quad 4K on TM 2600 motor. *Tm 5402 HD M3, *Atemio Nemesis. *Not Used.
My Location
Southern England
My Master Focus satellite dish came with a few scratches and bolts missing. I thought hassle was on the way but I was wrong. Sent an email to Muller Friday and had one back with apologies saying UPS will collect and they will issue a refund. Still a pain but I have to admit Muller provide a first class service, therefore credit where it is due. Currys need to take a few lessons from them.

To be 100% honest I was not impressed with it for £156 delivered. If it had come with all the bolts and no scratches I would have used it and done with because I only have the ladders for a while. The claimed same as a 1.2 dish is questioned in various places and I do not want to install it and be disappointed. A Gib 1m is highly rated so I will think about it.
 
I cannot believe they could get away with claiming it works as well as a 1.2m (unless it's a Master Focus one)

Yes it was a Master Focus but it was not very well made.
 
if you need any info on the gibertini 1m William has one !!

ive got the gibertini 1.25m and its a great dish with plently of gain

or there is a gibertini 1.5m for sale with chris-1979 on the forum for £80 which is a bargain if I was closer to him I would have it

Gibertini 1.5m I wish. Since the 110 wind gusts here Christmas 2013 which ripped a 3 m strip of 23cm flashing off the roof where the dish is I think a 1.5 would take the gable end off. I noticed the William post whereby he altered his lnb arm so will ask his advice.
 
My Master Focus dish came minus several bolts and a couple of scratches. Muller have made me an offer of a partial refund, rather than pay out for the return carriage. I can't fault them so I am getting scratches done by a friend at his body shop, despite him telling me I could polish them out with mop.o_O So I will do a temporary bolt of the dish to the garden railings and run a cable to my box to see how it is.
 
I am baffled. Stuck the Master Focus on a square fence post in the garden, roughly pointing south, gave the dish a quick tilt, ran a cable to sat box and turned on. Not expecting a thing but when went to 4.8 e Dazir News was there @ 45 dB. Only that and Dazir TV. Nothing else. Did a blind scan and got several more.
Switched back to my 85 cm dish on the roof and no Dazir News, same transponder. Did a scan and still nothing, no signal. Surely the Master Focus is not that much better being stuck on a fence post being roughly positioned. Get 11604 H 5.886 on the Master Focus but not on the 85 cm on the roof. Have to put the Master Focus on the roof tomorrow and see how it is when i can use the positioner.
 
A 1metre will have about 30% more area than an 80cm so it is quite possible

Yes just me getting confused but it is only a quick setup. Just strapped it to the rails so I can move it better and more sheltered from the rain. Picked up 15 W so I fine tuned it to that and on 12608 H 19279 it goes up from 31% on the 85 cm dish to 48% on the MF dish. I believe my 85 cm dish is setup good so I am thinking of getting the Gib 1 metre Xp and adapting it to a Fibo type dish. Shouldn't be that hard as the main bit is the small reflector size and curvature.
