There are several threads about DB password recovery here in the DB section. Do a search for password.

Why do you want a p/w recovery - was the box already set up for you?

yes it was set up before and cannot login using ftp.

Leave it alone - if its been p/w protected its so you cant tinker with it.

Or if you are determined then flash a new image to it - this will overwrite the existing settings.
