Because it is a Conditional Access Module not a receiver :-DOH!
 
in my location, matrix reloaded 2 is a brand of receiver made in korea, not a CAM..
there is a slot for CAM and CI also. since join, never see that brand here.
make me so curious.
actually, i am a newcomer in this thing.many questions to asked but don't know where to get answer.

Your right it is a receiver, it certainly fooled me and topper but you must understand that it has the same name as a certain cam in the UK.

I think this answers your question as to why there is no disscussion about this receiver, no one here has heard of them not alone seen one.:)
 
hard too find uploader or firmware or upgrade the software for that receiver.

how about magix (MGX-8800) ? can i upgrade this receiver?
 
already browse that website. but death end. nothing to get.
 
maybe my receivers is cheap one. so the manufacture didnt have website for consumer that support after sales service..
