I've just purchased the Matrix Reload cam UCAS V3.0.

Am I right in assuming the following:

I need mr_101_1024_1,2 = 2 x Fun 6 cards which I need to download and can programme via Millenium 4 with correct software. I presume I need the two cards for the updated software.

How do I then programme the cam. Do I insert the 2 cards in sequence with cam in receiver so that the software is transferred to the cam and then I can use a programmed 6 in 1 card for viewing or have I lost the plot entirely?

Only joking. :) If the cam does not have the reloaded software loaded, the latest is 1.055, then you can use 2 x fun 6s, a laptop, cas interface or mutznutz to flash it.

Now that's confirmed I'll proceed on those lines. Wait until your 61, you'll have the same problem!

MR can be obtained for £79.95 from www.parabolic.co.uk
 
They're one penny more from Toecutters Sab and include postage plus programming, plus the new MR files are likely to appear there first and the profits go to a satellite forum, but Parabolic seem to have a reasonable reputation. :)

PS. A little behind you age wise, but starting to suffer already. ;)
 
I note that the firmware on my MR is 1.7.12.2.1. Does this need updating?

I'll bear in mind Toecutters's in the future
 
This is probably the supposed updated 1.055, but i think that it is identical. Main thing is that it works. :)
