Matrix reloaded & official cards

Does anybody know if matrix reloaded works with real cards in the slot? i.e works as a CAM rather than an emulator.

If anyone does have a MR CAM which does accept cards please tell me the version. I believe 1.080 was the last official version but that does not seem to allow cards to work.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I have tried about 6 different types of file uploaded with funcards to the CAM and none of them will work with a card. I do not believe they work with cards or someone would have replied I am going to get an offcial cam. less hassle!!
 
That was the 1.180 file I used.

I can only think that the CAM is faulty or does not work with the echostar. Unless there is something you have to do to make it read the card I don't know about.
 
As far as i remember there was nothing extra to do. Just put the card in the proper way, that's all. Did you test your MR in another receiver? And your official card as well?
 
Yes official card works & I have just got an old Humax. It works in that machine so it must be the Echostar Thanks for your help.
