I'm new to Sat television. Please can someone tell me what is the diference between a Conax cam and a Matrix cam

The Conax CAM is a single encryption CAM, although there are files which will enable it to decrypt other encryptions. The MR is a multi encryption CAM and can be used with genuine cards for several encryptions.
The MR can also emulate a smartcard on certain encryptions.
